Non ce n'est pas un billet sur la signalisation,mais sur la langue Islandaise,les langues sont fascinantes ,celle çi n'a presque pas changé depuis le Moyen Age et les textes anciens du 13 ième siècle restent accessibles à la population .C'est une langue assez complexe , je n'ai réussi qu'à retenir un seul mot "takk" (merci) car il est court et à la prononciation facile ;)
Heureusement tous les Islandais parlent anglais !
No ,it's not a post about road signs ,but about Icelandic language ,languages are fascinating ,especially this one ,it has not change since the Middle Age ,and icelanders can read old books from the 13th century in the old version .It's a complex language ,i can remenber only one word "takk" (thanks )because it's short and easy to pronounce ;)
Happily the population speaks english !

je me demande si miss HPY (qui est la reine des langues sur la blogosphere) connait et maitrise le finlandais. C'est une belle langue a regarder, a imaginer la prononcer, mais en effet doit pas etre facile a maitriser (deja que j'arrive pas a maitriser l'anglais ;o) )
Very interesting the fact people can still read a text from the 13th century! Interesting and amazing how the language and writing has changed so little!!!
Looking at the signs I think I could never read them! :-)
